About Steve
Steve joined Bain Capital in 1989 as a Managing Director. Bain Capital is
a private investment company with over $70- billion in assets. Prior to
joining Bain Capital, Steve was a Vice President at Bain & Company where he
managed client relationships in the information services and healthcare
industries. Steve was also involved in developing Bain & Company's turnaround
practice. Previously, Mr. Pagliuca worked as a senior accountant and
international tax specialist at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Company in the
Netherlands.
Steve is Co-Owner of the World Champion NBA Boston Celtics and Chair of the
Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. He is
also active with several other non-profits and has served on the boards of many
major multi-national corporations. Steve and his wife Judy have four
children.

Politics
Steve is active in political causes and the Democratic Party. Steve
is pro-business, pro-healthcare, pro-freedom and believes in a "big tent"
philosophy that works to find common ground among people of differing political
opinions.
Charitable Organizations
With Steve is active with several non-profit organizations including the
Shamrock Foundation and as Chair of the MSPCC - Massachusetts Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
